Popular sculptor Kenta Kawanishi (ぐりむろっく！), created the sensational "GrimRock! Rei Ayanami & Asuka" kit in 2003, combining Evangelion characters with a bold swimsuit-like design and tails, which garnered significant fan response at the time. Nearly 20 years later, it has been re-produced with new technology and re-designed by illustrator Mojarin.
