Chinese toy brand HIYA Toys, under its EXQUISITE BASIC series, renowned for producing high-quality collectibles from Legendary Pictures' "Godzilla," will release a new version of the "King Ghidorah (2019)," which was released in 2023 to great acclaim from fans. This new version is the "King Ghidorah Gravity Beam Ver." 14-inch non-scale articulated figure, with a suggested retail price of US$110, expected to ship in Q2 2024!
In the 2019 film "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," King Ghidorah was originally frozen in the ice of Outpost 32 in Antarctica. Paleobiologist Emma Russell detonated the ice to release him. After a battle, he briefly usurped Godzilla's dominance and spontaneously awakened other Titans, commanding them to begin destroying humanity and the world's ecosystems. Ultimately, Godzilla defeated him in his newly evolved Burning form, preventing a global catastrophe for humanity.
The "King Ghidorah Gravity Beam Ver." is based on the 2023 version, faithfully recreating the distinct expressions of its three heads: Ichi, Ni, and San, aligning with the setting that each head possesses a unique personality. Coupled with the intricate muscle and bone detailing, it precisely and accurately restores Ghidorah from "Godzilla: King of the Monsters." The multi-joint articulation in the wings and neck also allows collectors to pose Ghidorah in various majestic stances. This new edition features an all-new multi-layered metallic gold paint application, presenting an even more vivid and striking appearance than previous versions. The bright gold coating gives Ghidorah an aura of continuously emanating powerful energy, and intricate details like the veins on the wings are meticulously reproduced with new color sprays. Combined with the three sets of gravity beam effect parts included, the destructive power of Monster Zero is elevated to an unprecedented level!
