Taiwanese designer toy brand STUDIO SUNDOWNER's "Advent of Marvelous League" series recently unveiled its latest eighth installment -"Pajra (Dragon)" 1/6 scale collectible figure. Pre-orders are now open on the official website, with an estimated shipping date in Q4 2024.
The "Advent of Marvelous League" series ingeniously blends the Chinese zodiac, religious mythology, and sci-fi elements to create a fictional world permeated with a post-apocalyptic atmosphere. The backstory is set after World War III, where human civilization is reborn after a nuclear catastrophe, and the global population is reduced to merely one-thousandth of its original size. A vast number of powerful, desire-driven spirits, unable to reincarnate, wander the world. They manifest as terrifying calamities by possessing humans, animals, or machines, and are known as "World-Ending Specters." The only ones capable of combating these specters are the powerful Twelve Divine Generals summoned through spiritual rituals......
Following several other Divine Generals, the highly anticipated "Pajra (Dragon)" has finally been realized as a 1/6 scale figure!
The entire series is handcrafted in limited quantities, and each box includes a signed authenticity card from the artist, making every piece unique. The figure stands approximately 32 cm tall and features 32 points of articulation. Coinciding with the Year of the Dragon, designer Ethan Chiang drew inspiration from the Chinese zodiac's Dragon. The figure boasts sharp mechanical parts, meticulously detailed fabric-sewn outerwear and trousers, and an intricate mechanical dragon-head sculpt, resulting in an overall powerful and imposing design. Its accessory weapon, a three-section staff, can be transformed into over five different variations by swapping parts, allowing collectors to discover even more weapon forms.
