LEGO "Dungeons & Dragons" Themed Set Minifigure Silhouettes Revealed! Official Release on March 19th

The Danish LEGO toy company's anticipated 2024 release of the "Dungeons & Dragons" set received a further information update today (13th), revealing not only minifigure silhouettes but also announcing its official unveiling on March 19th! A countdown has also begun on the official website, which is truly exciting! Today, we will compile the information we currently have.

First, this "Dungeons & Dragons" set will be an officially modified version of LEGO fan BoltBuilds' creation, "Dragon's Keep: Journey's End." This design was the winning entry in the LEGO IDEAS building contest, "50 YEARS OF DUNGEONS & DRAGONS!" In BoltBuilds' original design, he used approximately 3000 pieces to construct an ancient castle with a dragon clinging to it. Besides structures like a witch's tower, tavern, and dungeon, considerable effort was also put into the pathing. Furthermore, from the official description of the new set, "Get ready for fire-breathing foes and....uh....how shall we say....treacherous, trap-filled subterranean lairs?", it can be inferred that this set will likely feature many interesting mechanisms, and the fire-breathing foes are undoubtedly dragons.

Judging from the minifigure silhouettes released by LEGO, this set will include at least four minifigures. Based on their design and "Dungeons & Dragons" character classes, we speculate they might be a Warrior, Rogue, Barbarian, and Mage. It remains to be seen whether the "d20 system" and "20-sided die," which are synonymous with "Dungeons & Dragons," will be incorporated into the set's design in some form. It's truly something to look forward to.
