Japanese game developer Capcom (CAPCOM) recently announced that to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its popular co-op hunting game series "Monster Hunter," the previously released popular prize item "Potion Drink Bottle" will be re-released with new packaging on March 23, 2024, at Capcom's directly managed arcade centers in Japan and through Capcom's online crane game service "Captore."
This prize item is a drink bottle with a capacity of approximately 500ml, modeled after the essential healing item "Potion" that every hunter needs in "Monster Hunter: World." It features brass-colored painted parts to replicate the game's metallic bottle cap and protective frame. When filled with green, yellow, or red beverages, it transforms into the in-game Health Potion, Stamina Potion, or Demondrug, allowing players to experience the feeling of being a hunter.
The content design remains the same as previous versions, but the new outer box packaging features the "Monster Hunter" 20th Anniversary main visual, showcasing hunters in classic gear from various eras alongside popular flagship monsters. Please note that this drink bottle's applicable temperature range is -20℃ to 60℃; absolutely do not use it for hot beverages, or you might truly become a "Demondrug" (a playful reference to the item's name, which can also mean "demon person").
