American collectible manufacturer Sideshow Collectibles has announced a new product from DC Comics under its "Premium Format Figure" product line: the "Batman vs Joker: Eternal Enemies" 1/4 scale full body statue! Both a regular edition and an exclusive edition will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping date from October 2024 to January 2025, and a suggested retail price of US$1,050.
The most iconic archenemy duo in DC Comics once again engages in fierce combat! This "Batman vs Joker: Eternal Enemies" created by SIDESHOW stands approximately 81 cm tall and is crafted from high-quality Polystone material, dynamically recreating the two characters' combat poses. Batman appears to have gained the upper hand from a vantage point, ready to deliver a decisive blow to the fallen Joker, yet even in this desperate situation, the Joker still wears a smile and seems to be at ease. After all, what he truly desires to destroy has never been merely Batman's physical body. Following the Joker's gaze back to Batman, one can see that Batman has not only sustained injuries all over his body but has also been severely cut by multiple playing cards, and his cape is even on fire, presenting a truly disheveled appearance.
The Joker's right hand can be displayed with interchangeable parts, showcasing two different looks: holding a vibrant revolver or grasping the classic element, a "Joker fish."
The exclusive edition, released simultaneously, will also include an "Eternal Enemies" themed display plaque, intricately sculpted with numerous bats and 3D "HAHAHA" lettering.
