Japanese figure manufacturer Wanderer (わんだらー) will release its latest product, the "Mari Illustrious Makinami 1/7 Scale Figure," based on "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time." The suggested retail price is 19,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in March 2025!
The new "Deep Dive Pressure-Resistant Prototype Plugsuit" that appeared in "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time" was created for the final battle and worn by Asuka and Mari Makinami. Featuring a white main color scheme with iridescent accents and personal red and pink lines, its characteristic, as its name suggests, allows the wearer to adapt to drastic pressure changes. Fans refer to it as the "White Plugsuit," while Asuka jokingly called it a "shroud" in the film.
The Wanderer "Mari Illustrious Makinami 1/7 Scale Figure" stands approximately 24 cm tall. It is based on Mari's appearance in "Thrice Upon a Time" wearing the "Deep Dive Pressure-Resistant Prototype Plugsuit" for the final operation. Wanderer's original alluring pose, looking back over her shoulder, showcases her captivating figure, especially the voluptuousness of her hips! To create the effect of a form-fitting and thin plugsuit, in addition to pearlescent paintwork, a subtle hint of skin tone showing through the suit has been preserved, giving the overall piece a unique charm. Her flowing hair parts utilize transparent material, with a gradient effect to express the translucency of the hair ends. Holding a meticulously recreated "EVA Modified Unit-08 Weapon" part, her smiling face conveys Mari's mature and composed demeanor!
