American toy manufacturer [[OBJ_201]]'s "Premier Collection Statue" series has announced its latest Marvel Comics-themed product—the "Marvel Weapon Hulk" (tentative translation: Weapon Hulk) 1/7 scale statue, with a suggested retail price of US$250. Limited to 1000 pieces worldwide, it is now available for pre-order on the Diamond Select Toys official website and is expected to be released in Q4 2024!
Weapon Hulk first appeared in Marvel Comics' 2017 release, "Totally Awesome Hulk" Issue #21. The protagonist, Clayton Cortez, was a former mercenary working for Eaglestar Corporation. During a mission, he betrayed his employers due to immense remorse after eliminating innocent villagers, only to be kidnapped and sold to the Weapon X project as a test subject. In the experiment, Clayton was injected with the DNA of Wolverine—Logan—and Hulk—Amadeus Cho, granting him the Incredible Hulk's astonishing strength, Wolverine's immortality, and his claws.
This "Marvel Weapon Hulk" 1/7 scale statue is made of resin, standing approximately 25.4 cm tall. It depicts Clayton after his transformation, with his muscular body covered in gray skin, steel pillars protruding from his shoulders, and his claws extended, ready for battle. The sculpting meticulously recreates the veins on his body that appear ready to burst, and the red glow in his eyes reveals an expression of pain. The base intricately portrays the ground torn apart by Adamantium claws, exuding a powerful aura while also conveying his suffering as an experimental subject!
