At today's model kit festival, "HYPER PLAMO Fes.2024," held by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division, the prototype for the new product "HG 1/144 High-Zack Custom," from the manga "A.O.Z Re-Boot Gundam Inle -The Dream of the Black Rabbit-," was unveiled for the first time. The release date is yet to be determined. This product is expected to be sold exclusively on PREMIUM BANDAI.
The RMS-106 High-Zack is a new mobile suit developed by the Earth Federation Forces after the One Year War, during the "Z Gundam" era. It adopted the design of the Zeon mobile suit "Zaku II F2 Type" as its base, combining technologies from both factions. Its hardware, including armor, engine, and thrusters, was comprehensively improved, and it was equipped with armaments such as beam rifles and beam sabers. Among these, a variant known as the "RMS-106CS High-Zack Custom" emerged, featuring comprehensive improvements to its energy system, backpack, power pipe configuration, armor materials, and more, and equipped with a sniper beam rifle.
The "HG 1/144 High-Zack Custom" is a modification based on the "High-Zack (A.O.Z RE-BOOT Ver.)" that was sold exclusively at GUNDAM SIDE-F last year. It utilizes numerous new parts to recreate the angular armor designed by Kenki Fujioka, the larger spiked shoulder armor, and multiple square thruster nozzles across the body, and includes its characteristic sniper beam rifle.
