STAR ACE TOYS, a renowned brand dedicated to producing high-quality pop culture collectibles, recently announced a new product to be released alongside "Ray Stantz." This "Egon Spengler" 1/8 scale collectible statue is themed after the classic 80s film Ghostbusters. The suggested retail price is US$235, with an estimated shipping date in Q3-Q4 2024!
Egon Spengler, one of the founding members of Ghostbusters, is a scientist who researches the supernatural and quantum fields. He developed various Ghostbusters equipment with Ray. Though taciturn and not good with words, he is the brain of the team! In the film, it was also Egon who conceived the method of intertwining proton streams to generate immense energy, defeating the evil Gozer and the giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man!
This Egon Spengler 1/8 scale collectible statue stands approximately 22 cm tall. He is also dressed in the iconic ghost-catching uniform from the film, faithfully recreating actor Harold Ramis's appearance with his prominent nose, and his gaze is fixed firmly on the approaching ghosts! Various details on his uniform, such as the buckles on his waist, the walkie-talkie, and the wires on the proton pack, are meticulously sculpted. The base also features the Ghostbusters logo, stained with marshmallow. With two members already revealed, we eagerly anticipate the sight of the entire team lined up!
