Japan's TAKARA TOMY company's toy brand T-ARTS is launching a new gashapon series this April, featuring "Toy Story" (トイ・ストーリー) themed Hide & Seek Figures (かくれんぼフィギュア)! The suggested retail price is 400 Japanese Yen per capsule.
The Hide & Seek gashapon series, where characters cover their faces as if playing hide-and-seek with you, now welcomes classic "Toy Story" characters! This collection includes Woody the cowboy, Bo Peep the shepherdess, Slinky Dog, and Hamm. Each figure, approximately 3-4 cm in size, is intricately detailed and reinterpreted with an adorable chibi-style proportion. Woody, with his cowboy hat pulled low, looks incredibly cool, and Slinky Dog covering his eyes with his ears is just too cute! The cardboard box covering Hamm's head features Andy's drawings. We hope that subsequent "Toy Story" themed releases will follow, allowing collectors to combine them and create a super therapeutic hide-and-seek playground on their desks.
