The articulated figure brand "S.H.Figuarts," released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the Collectors Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, after announcing the release of "Yu Yu Hakusho" themed products, has finally unveiled its first new product, "Yusuke Urameshi" (うらめし ゆうすけ), today (the 1st)!
The protagonist of "Yu Yu Hakusho," the fourteen-year-old delinquent "Yusuke Urameshi," died in a car accident at the beginning of the story while saving a child. Due to "Yusuke's death being unexpected by the Spirit World," he was resurrected and became a "Spirit Detective." During his missions, he met "Kurama the Fox Demon" and "Hiei the Outcast" who came from the Demon World to the Human World, and together with his friend "Kazuma Kuwabara" from Sarayashiki Junior High, he solved problems involving demons from both the Demon World and the Human World.
"S.H.Figuarts Yusuke Urameshi" is designed based on the Dark Tournament arc, faithfully recreating his yellow gi vest and dark blue pants. The biggest highlight is the ability to display up to 10 different head sculpts using various face plates and hair parts. In addition to his classic slicked-back hairstyle, his slightly longer, somewhat fluffy short hair after training is also included! Accessories also include a Spirit Gun effect part, a stand to support the Spirit Gun, multiple interchangeable hands, and the super cute Spirit Beast "Puu," which can be placed on Yusuke's head – it's absolutely fantastic!
