Within the 'ZOIDS 40TH ANNIVERSARY PROJECT,' a 40th-anniversary commemorative project for the popular 'ZOIDS' series from Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY, the 'AZ SERIES,' which remakes classic Zoids using modern technology, has announced its latest product, 'AZ-07 Death Saurer,' slated for release in November 2024.
The dinosaur-type large ZOID, "Death Saurer," is a decisive weapon developed by the Zenebas Empire with the full might of its nation. It possesses unparalleled combat capabilities, super heavy armor, and various powerful armaments unmatched by other ZOIDS, including electromagnetic claws, a gravity shock tail, a 16-shot missile launcher, laser guns, and more, as well as the "Large-Caliber Charged Particle Cannon," the most powerful ultimate weapon in the initial world setting. In the original anime series "ZOIDS," the Death Saurer was depicted as the "Beast of Destruction" created by ancient people to destroy civilization, with its body size magnified several times, making its appearance as the final BOSS truly memorable.
"AZ-07 Death Saurer" is a remake product released 25 years after the EZ-021 product in 1999. It is produced based on the latest design drawings, utilizing TAKARA TOMY's cutting-edge technology, partially pre-painted parts, and body marking stickers to meticulously recreate its cool black heavy armor, high-density details, and skeletal mechanical structure. Furthermore, by replacing parts, it can reproduce the anime version's "Charged Particle Forced Intake Fan" and "Charged Particle Converter" mounted on its back.
With its built-in motor power system, activating the switch allows the Death Saurer to walk, simultaneously linking the extension and retraction of hydraulic cylinders throughout its body, illuminating its eyes, the charged particle cannon on its head, and its core, as well as the rotation and illumination mechanism of the Charged Particle Forced Intake Fan. Additionally, it features a display-only illumination mode, allowing all LED lights on its body to activate without walking.
