Following their "Superman and Lois Lane" release, Brazilian statue manufacturer Iron Studios recently unveiled a new product featuring two other classic DC Comics characters with a profound relationship—the "Batman and Catwoman" 1/6 scale collectible statue. The suggested retail price is US$699.99, with an estimated shipping date in Q4 2024!

Catwoman, whose real name is Selina Kyle, was inspired by 1930s film star Jean Harlow. She first appeared in the very first issue of the comic book "Batman," though not yet in her Catwoman persona. The enemy-lover relationship between Catwoman and Batman has endured throughout the comics, undergoing numerous adaptations. In the New 52 reboot of Batman, Batman even proposed to Catwoman, leading to many more interesting developments.

This "Batman and Catwoman" 1/6 scale collectible statue stands approximately 51 cm tall, depicting the two heroes atop a medieval-style tower in Gotham City. Catwoman is seated sideways on the statue, playfully touching Batman's chin in an intriguing scene. The sculpture meticulously captures details such as Catwoman's leather suit, the texture and folds of Batman's costume, and the rough texture of the statue's base, recreating the unspoken ambiguous tension that emanates from the two characters during their rooftop conversation in the dead of night!
