The immensely popular "Ichiban Kuji" brand, under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, which guarantees a prize with every draw, today announced the latest product themed around "Mobile Suit Gundam", "Mobile Suit Gundam Gunpla 2024", scheduled for release in late August 2024.
The "Ichiban Kuji Mobile Suit Gundam Gunpla" series, a collaboration between Ichiban Kuji and BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division, is a highly anticipated annual release. The biggest feature of this series is its multiple special limited-edition color Gunpla models, which utilize opaque and translucent parts to create a unique "Solid Clear" special coloring, applied to many popular Gunpla kits released in recent years. This time, there are as many as 8 Gunpla prizes, including the protagonist's mobile suit from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury", "FULL MECHANICS 1/100 Gundam Aerial", and the popular kit from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam", "RG 1/144 God Gundam", all presented in the Solid Clear special coloring.
The J Prize, equivalent to a consolation prize, also uncommonly features an "Accessory Set" for Gunpla customization, including various flexible weapon parts that can be used to create unique armaments different from the original settings. The H Prize "Sticker Set" and I Prize "Acrylic Stand" are designed using cool Gunpla product box art, allowing you to decorate your surroundings with stylish illustrations.
