Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division has released multiple products to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the classic anime Ojamajo Doremi. Today, we will introduce the recently announced "Ojamajo Doremi Light-Up Item Collection" (tentative title) capsule toys, with a reference price of 500 JPY per turn, scheduled for release in late August 2024!
"Ojamajo Doremi" tells the story of witch apprentice Harukaze Doremi, who, while helping out at the Maho-do with her witch friends, uses magic in her daily life to solve various problems for those around her. To commemorate the 25th anniversary, "Ojamajo Doremi" will also welcome a new work this year, "Ojamajo Doremi 1620s" (おジャ魔女どれみ1620s), which is highly anticipated!
In the series, the little witches use "Transformation Devices" and "Poloons" when transforming. Their designs change with each season's theme, and corresponding merchandise is released! This "Ojamajo Doremi Light-Up Item Collection" features the Transformation Devices and Poloons from the first and second seasons of "Ojamajo Doremi," scaled down into cute light-up items. A total of four designs are available: "Apprentice Changer," "Peperuto Polon," "Rhythm Changer," and "Flower Polon." Each item can activate a light-up effect via a switch, recreating the magical effects when spells are cast!
