After releasing numerous "Toy Story"-themed character figures, Alien disguise series, and other products, Japan's TAKARA TOMY's toy brand T-ARTS (株式会社タカラトミーアーツ) is now offering miniature versions of "Toy Story" toy packaging! They have created the "Toy Story Miniature Package Collection" (トイ・ストーリー ミニチュアパッケージコレクション) gashapon, with a suggested retail price of 300 JPY per capsule.
These gashapon, designed based on the Woody's Roundup series cowboy-themed toys from "Toy Story 2", feature the toy packaging for "Woody", "Jessie", "Bullseye", and "Stinky Pete" in a size of approximately 3 cm. In addition to admiring the exquisite character illustrations, the design details from the animation film production team, and the cute cactus patterns, the back also presents complete box art. Furthermore, they utilize paper boxes and transparent acrylic printing to recreate the form of windowed blister packaging. A hole is also made at the top of the acrylic for a ball chain, allowing toy enthusiasts to easily hang them on their bags – super cute! However, it would be even more perfect if the characters inside were three-dimensional figures.
