Bandai Spirits' popular soft vinyl toy series "MOVIE MONSTER SERIES (ムービーモンスターシリーズ)" recently announced new soft vinyl figures of "Godzilla (1991)" and "SpaceGodzilla", based on the 1991 film "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah" and the 1994 film "Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla" respectively! MOVIE MONSTER SERIES Godzilla (1991)
Suggested Retail Price: 3,080 JPY (tax included), Product Specifications: Approximately 16 cm tall, Estimated Release Date: June 15, 2024
This latest three-dimensional rendition of Godzilla (1991) in the MOVIE MONSTER SERIES is essentially a new color version of the Godzilla (1991) released in 2021. The overall tone has shifted from a heavy, deep black to a brighter, dark gray, allowing for easier appreciation of the intricate surface textures. The highly organic, coral-like dorsal fins, the yellowish hue of the claws and teeth, and the forward-gazing eyes are meticulously reproduced, with the massive body and powerful legs exuding intense presence.
MOVIE MONSTER SERIES SpaceGodzilla
Suggested Retail Price: 3,520 JPY (tax included), Product Specifications: Approximately 17 cm tall, Estimated Release Date: July 13, 2024
Next up is SpaceGodzilla, a brand-new paint version of the SpaceGodzilla from the same series released in 2019. From the official images, the most significant difference lies in the color of the crystals on its shoulders and back, which have transformed from a yellowish-white to a brighter, more modern white. The pink accents on the neck, chest, and abdomen, as well as the skin color, have also been adjusted, giving the "Cosmic Destructor" a fresh new look.
