Hong Kong toy manufacturer threezero's "FigZero" 1/6 scale articulated figure series, which features characters from American and Japanese anime, manga, and tokusatsu, is releasing a new product derived from the spin-off work of the "ULTRAMAN" manga series—the "Ultraman Suit Tiga Sky Type" 1/6 scale articulated figure. The suggested retail price is US$149, with an estimated release in Q3 2024!
Ultraman Suit Tiga appears in the Tiga chapter of the spin-off novel "ULTRAMAN SUIT ANOTHER UNIVERSE" from the "ULTRAMAN" manga series. It incorporates Tiga's design from the 1996 "Ultraman Tiga" into the Ultraman Suit, featuring multiple forms. Following the previous "Multi Type" and "Power Type", threezero now brings us the highly agile form—the "Ultraman Suit Tiga Sky Type"!
This "Ultraman Suit Tiga Sky Type" 1/6 scale articulated figure inherits the general design of the previous two forms. Standing at 31.6 cm tall with over 47 points of articulation, it can be posed in various dynamic battle stances. The product faithfully recreates the various patterns on Ultraman Suit Tiga's armor, with the entire body finished in silver and blue-purple pearlescent paint to achieve a metallic effect. Die-cast zinc alloy technology and other metal parts are mixed in to reproduce the design depicted in the original work. The Tiga Crystal on the forehead, the Color Timer on the chest, and the eyes all retain LED light-up functions, allowing it to display its powerful charm even in the dark!
In terms of accessories, in addition to multiple sets of interchangeable hands and the "Zeperion Beam" firing device that can be equipped on the arm, threezero has also originally designed enhanced weaponry for Ultraman Suit Tiga Sky Type: "Leg Enhancement Armor and Thrusters" and a "Thruster Backpack." These can be attached to the legs and back, respectively, via magnetic design, allowing it to move more agilely on the battlefield!
