T-ARTS, a toy brand under Japan's TAKARA TOMY Company, has launched a new product based on the popular anime "Haikyuu!!"—the "Haikyuu!! Leaping Collection Figure Karasuno High School VS Nekoma High School" (tentative title) capsule toy. With a suggested retail price of 400 JPY per capsule, it is scheduled for release this April!
Originally created by Japanese manga artist Haruichi Furudate and adapted into an anime by Japanese animation studio Production I.G., "Haikyuu!!" recently released its second theatrical film, "Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle." This marked the series' first big-screen debut in Taiwan, igniting a "Haikyuu!!" craze!
This time, in response to the film, T-ARTS is re-releasing characters from Karasuno and Nekoma High Schools. These characters were previously featured in two earlier "Haikyuu!!" installments of its "Pyon Kore" (Leaping Collection) mini-figure series, which captures anime characters in dynamic 2.5-head-tall jumping poses. The collection includes five characters: Shoyo Hinata, Tobio Kageyama, Kei Tsukishima, Kenma Kozume, and Tetsuro Kuroo. They are depicted in various jumping poses on the court, and their personalities are expressed through cute expressions in their 2.5-head-tall proportions. Toy collectors can try their luck to collect all five characters who were active in the thrilling "Dumpster Battle"!
