World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys is launching new products based on Zack Snyder's 2016 DC film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" – the "Armored Batman" 1/6th scale collectible figure. It will be available in two versions, Regular and Deluxe, with an estimated price of US$300 and US$370 respectively, and is expected to be released in Q2 to Q3 2025!
Hot Toys released the first version of Armored Batman in 2016, the same year "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" premiered. After 8 years, they are once again bringing us Armored Batman 2.0 with all-new specifications! This re-sculpted version stands approximately 33 cm tall. The head sculpt more meticulously recreates the likeness and expression of actor Ben Affleck; even with most of the head obscured by the helmet, Ben Affleck's features are clearly discernible from the chin! This time, the armor is crafted from alloy material using die-cast technology, combined with weathering effects in the paint application, making the armor even closer to its on-screen appearance. The helmet also retains its LED light-up function, allowing for the recreation of in-movie effects!
Accessories include Batman's iconic grapnel launcher and the grenade launcher used in the film. The base retains the LED light-up logo design, enhancing the cinematic feel when displayed! The Deluxe Version additionally includes a battle-damaged helmet and chest armor, allowing Bruce's profile to be seen through the broken helmet. The weapon also includes a Kryptonite spear with an LED light-up function, which can be paired with Superman to recreate the movie's battle scene where Batman momentarily gained the upper hand!
