Bandai's GASHAPON division, under its GASHAPON Prize (ガシャポンくじ) series of capsule toy lotteries, will release a new product based on the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" — the "Bocchi the Rock! Bocchi's Collection Series" (tentative title) Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per turn, and it is scheduled to launch in the fourth week of April 2024!
Hitori Gotoh, the protagonist of "Bocchi the Rock!", also known as "Bocchi," wishes to form a band and play guitar with others but is extremely reclusive. Her gloomy and severely socially anxious personality has led Bocchi to display various artistic-level breakdown expressions throughout the series, which is one of the biggest highlights of the work!
This "Bocchi the Rock! Bocchi's Collection Series" features prizes across three tiers: A, B, and C. Each prize tier includes several designs showcasing Bocchi's exquisite range of expressive faces! The A Prize consists of Bocchi mini-figures, which, in addition to a normal smiling face, also include two versions: one with a pale, terrified expression and another with a completely distorted face – all incredibly cute! The B Prize offers four rubber keychains, including a humorous design of Bocchi curled up into a pink caterpillar! The C Prize features eight Bocchi-themed badges, showcasing fun designs such as her wearing her band uniform, a maid outfit, or comical sunglasses. These various hilarious and expressive prizes truly highlight Bocchi's adorable charm!
