American toy manufacturer Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format series introduces a brand-new DC Comics-themed Batman statue, with a suggested retail price of US$690, expected to be released from December 2024 to Q1 2025!
This Batman statue stands approximately 69 cm tall, featuring Batman's classic blue-grey battle suit. The cowl sports exceptionally long ears. While there is no information currently revealing which version served as the prototype, long ears are a design often adopted by renowned comic artists such as Kelly Jones and Sam Keith when drawing Batman, giving it a unique sense of design!
The sculpting and paintwork meticulously depict Batman's pose, suspended from a skyscraper's spire, entangled with a Batarang. The flowing cape held in his right hand is incredibly dynamic, reaching an exaggerated length that far exceeds his body height, showcasing Batman's authority and undeniable presence! Furthermore, multiple bats are sculpted flying around his arm and the top of the building, and the angled presentation of the skyscraper's tip adds significant visual tension to the entire piece!
