Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd. Candy Division BANDAI CANDY, to commemorate the upcoming special exhibition of its SMP [SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT] series, 'SMP UNION', to be held on July 28, 2024, at the Wonder Festival 2024[Summer] venue, today announced the latest commemorative product from 'The King of Braves GaoGaiGar', 'Final GaoGaiGar: Golden Ultimate Last Brave King'. This product will only be available for pre-order on PREMIUM BANDAI and for limited sale at the event booth on the day of the event.
Final GaoGaiGar appeared in the final battle of 'Hakai-Oh: GaoGaiGar vs. Betterman', as the 'Strongest Ultimate Brave King' to counter the Super-Evolved King Betterman, Armored Rider Kai. After recovering the Genesic GaoGaiGar, purified from its Hakai-Oh state, from Triple Zero, even though the unit was fully repaired, it remained inoperable due to damage to its control core. Thus, seven key characters – Guy Shishioh, Mamoru Amami, Mikoto Utsugi, Renais Kerdif-Shishioh, Ikumi Kaidou, Keita Aono, and Hana Hatsuno – fused with it to pilot it. Compared to before, it gained seven times the courage, and could equip the extremely massive 'Goldion Armor' to unleash its ultimate special move, 'Goldion Crusher'.
The 'SMP Final GaoGaiGar: Golden Ultimate Last Brave King' is a modified version based on the regular edition released in 2022. All parts of the unit have been changed to use 5 different shades of gold molded parts and 3 types of colored clear parts. The stickers have also been adjusted in color to match the main body, expressing the layers of golden light emanating from Final GaoGaiGar's entire body.
The 'Goldion Armor' is composed of six G-BLOCKs and golden plasma wing effects. The 'Goldion Crusher', which is even larger than the main body, is made with new parts. Once equipped, it reaches a total height of 30 cm and a width of 50 cm, and a rotating mechanism is reproduced in the center of the wrist. In addition, accessories include a set of replacement parts that can restore the 'Genesic GaoGaiGar' form, also using multiple golden molding colors to recreate its golden glowing appearance.
