The 'MODEROID' series of plastic models, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, today announced the latest product from 'Megaton-class Musashi', the 'Megaton-class Musashi', scheduled for release in November 2024.
'Megaton-class Musashi' is a cross-media project launched by Japanese game developer LEVEL-5. Set in the near future, Earth has been extensively destroyed and invaded by alien forces. The surviving humans have taken refuge in the last stronghold, 'Shelter Ixia', where altered memories allow most people to live a false peaceful life. However, Earth faces an existential crisis, and some 'chosen ones' must bear the heavy responsibility of protecting the planet, piloting giant super robots called 'Rogues' to fight a decisive battle against the aliens.
The 'MODEROID Megaton-class Musashi' is composed of multi-colored molded parts and some pre-painted parts, allowing it to closely resemble its in-series appearance upon completion. Standing at 16 cm tall, it faithfully recreates Megaton-class Musashi's characteristic heavy armor and robust limb design, and features multiple articulated joints. Its armaments include two twin-bladed swords and a Photon Revolver, which can be mounted on its back and sides using stand parts. Furthermore, it includes a clear orange effect part for the right arm, enabling the powerful pose of its special move, 'Megaton Punch'!
