The Blood Fiend has arrived! Japanese toy brand Prime 1 Studio's "Ultimate Premium MasterLine" statue series will release a 1/4 scale statue of "Power", one of the popular main characters from the hit anime and manga series "Chainsaw Man"! It is scheduled for release between July and October 2025, priced at 179,190 JPY.
"Chainsaw Man" (Japanese: チェンソーマン, English: Chainsaw Man) is a work created by Japanese manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, serialized starting in December 2018. The story's style is themed around "devils," featuring elements of slaughter and darkness. It depicts the protagonist, Denji, a poor young man who, in order to survive, partners with the Chainsaw Devil "Pochita" to hunt devils. One day, he is ambushed and dismembered by his employer, who is controlled by the "Zombie Devil." To save Denji, Pochita forms a contract, merging with Denji's heart, and demands that Denji fulfill his dreams. Denji thus gains devil powers and is later recruited by Makima into Public Safety Devil Hunters Special Division 4, where he meets comrades Aki Hayakawa, Power, senior Himeno, and others, with the goal of hunting the "Gun Devil."
In the story, Power appears to be a beautiful girl, but her words and actions are quite crude, and her living habits are very poor. She likes to refer to herself as "Ore-sama" (ワシ, a boastful first-person pronoun). As the Blood Fiend, she possesses the ability to control blood, solidifying it or transforming it into various weapons for combat.
This Power statue from Prime 1 Studio is crafted in 1/4 scale, standing approximately 66 cm tall. It features Power in her standard Public Safety uniform, faithfully recreating her appearance as the Blood Fiend, including the horns on her head, the cross patterns in her eyes, and her flowing long hair. She is depicted wielding a scythe made of solidified blood, captured in a dynamic swinging pose. Furthermore, severed devil heads are shown flying and gathering at Power's feet, forming a uniquely sculpted base. Blood even splatters onto Power's sneakers, creating a highly atmospheric scene.
