Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, the "METAL ROBOT魂" series, which combines metallic paintwork and a die-cast frame, today officially unveiled full details for its latest product from the theatrical anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM": the "Force Impulse Gundam SpecII", scheduled for release in November 2024.
The ZGMF-56E2 Force Impulse Gundam SpecⅡ is a new mobile suit secretly recovered by the Archangel after the previous war, severely damaged, and then repaired and improved by Morgenroete with the latest technology. After replacing the new battery and other energy systems, the color of the VPS armor becomes deeper when activated, and it can also be wirelessly charged from the Hyper Duetrion Beam Supply System emitted by the Destiny Gundam SpecⅡ. The rest of its armaments remain largely unchanged, but it is capable of equipping the massive strengthening equipment "Tactical Striker M.E.T.E.O.R".
The "METAL ROBOT魂 Force Impulse Gundam SpecII" is based on the previously released DESTINY Version, with the entire unit repainted to the deeper colors of its enhanced VPS armor. It also features original model markings, enriching the fuselage details. Furthermore, new parts are used to recreate the newly added projectile weapon from the theatrical version, the "Railgun", which can be suspended from the rear skirt armor using dedicated parts.
The new "Hyper Duetrion Beam" effect parts can be combined with the separately sold Destiny Gundam SpecⅡ to recreate the "couple's dazzling scene" of wirelessly charging the Impulse Gundam. Accessories also include standard armaments such as the "High-Energy Beam Rifle", "Anti-Armor Folding Razor", and "Shield". With the main body's die-cast movable frame and the Force Silhouette's movable wing mechanism, various dynamic battle poses can be achieved.
