BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division "TAMASHII NATIONS" in Japan is releasing a new product in its popular S.H.Figuarts action figure series, based on the latest Super Sentai series, "Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger": "S.H.Figuarts Bun Red"! The suggested retail price is 8,250 JPY, with an estimated release in October 2024.
"Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger" features a theme of cars × creation, telling the story of heroes dressed in racing suits adorned with tires and dashboards, who overcome difficulties with their wisdom and skills. The protagonist, Taiya Hando, works as a delivery driver for a "delivery service" and is a passionate car modification expert. He drives his self-developed red sports car, and no matter what he's entrusted to deliver, he'll get it to its destination! (Not really) After transforming, he becomes the hero Bun Red, clad in a red battle suit.
The "S.H.Figuarts Bun Red" action figure stands approximately 14.5 cm tall. With its unique range of articulation and proportions, it faithfully recreates the distinctive hero racing suit, reminiscent of a "tire-man". The tire-like details on the face are finished with a striking metallic red, and the tires on the back and ankles are also meticulously sculpted! It comes with 3 types of interchangeable left wrist parts and 5 types of right wrist parts, including a thumbs-up gesture and weapon-holding hands. The transformation device attached to the arm is designed to be detachable, allowing it to be held in hand or combined with the BoonBoom Handle steering wheel. With interchangeable parts, you can also enjoy displaying it in gun mode and staff mode, striking cool poses to defeat enemies! Boon Boon Boon Boon!
