TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has officially unveiled today the full details of the latest product from the "ROBOT魂" series of mecha-themed articulated figures: "IB-07: SOL 644 / Ayre," based on "Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon." It is scheduled for release in September 2024.
Ayre is a female voice that emerged in the mind of the protagonist, Raven (C4-621), after accidental overexposure to the energy substance "Coral." Identifying herself as a Rubiconian, she becomes one of the partners supporting the protagonist in missions. Only the protagonist, an old-model augmented human, can receive Ayre's "sensory input," which others dismiss as auditory hallucinations. Due to her frequent assistance and close interaction with players, many consider Ayre to be the main heroine of this title.
"IB-07: SOL 644 / Ayre" is an articulated figure, approximately 16 cm tall, composed of around 330 parts. It features high-density detailing on its armor, frame, and twin arm cannon units. Although it is a ROBOT魂 product, some joint parts are made with die-cast material to enhance structural strength. The entire unit primarily uses gray parts for its armor, with red gradient painting applied to the edges of the parts, depicting the "Coral" spreading throughout the game's environment. With designs such as pull-out knee joints and two pairs of interchangeable hands, cool battle poses can be achieved.
