The 'MODEROID' model kit series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, has announced its latest product from the movie "Godzilla VS Biollante", the "MODEROID Super X2", with a suggested retail price of 6,800 JPY, slated for release in December 2024!
The anti-Godzilla main weapon battleship "Super X2", which appeared in the movie "Godzilla VS Biollante", also makes its debut in the MODEROID model kit series! Once assembled, the model measures approximately 175 mm in length, faithfully recreating its flattened elliptical submarine-like appearance. With various molded colors, pre-painted parts, and water-slide decals, assembly alone achieves a finish closely resembling its on-screen look. The "Fire Mirror" weapon, located at the front of the aircraft and designed to reflect Godzilla's atomic breath, is constructed with a dual structure of plated and clear parts. It also features an expandable mechanism that allows the internal central component to extend in conjunction! The hatch on the top of the aircraft can be opened, and pressing it allows the missile launcher to rise to its firing position. Super Missiles, which can be freely detached, are also included!
