America's renowned toy manufacturer Hasbro's Marvel 6-inch action figure series "Marvel Legends" will release a new product, the "Venom 85th Anniversary Edition" 6-inch action figure, to commemorate the 85th anniversary of Marvel Comics. The suggested retail price is US$24.99, and it is expected to be released in Summer 2024!
Venom is an extraterrestrial symbiote that appears in a liquid-like form and requires bonding with a host to survive. He first appeared in "The Amazing Spider-Man" #252, where he unintentionally bonded with Spider-Man Peter Parker. After being rejected, he found his primary host in the comics, Eddie Brock, in issue #300.
This Venom 85th Anniversary Edition 6-inch action figure is inspired by Venom's comic book appearance. The newly sculpted head sculpt appears smoother and more rounded, showcasing the symbiote's slick texture. Among these, the exaggerated head sculpt with the tongue extended backward is a major highlight! The shoulders feature Marvel Legends' butterfly joints, allowing Venom to perform a wide range of dynamic poses. The accessories are quite simple, including only a pair of interchangeable hands and one additional head sculpt. However, the cool new sculpt and card art have already generated immense anticipation among many fans!
