Japan's KOTOBUKIYA company has announced the latest product in its "Mega Man X" model kit series, the "Max Armor Triad Thunder Ver.", with a suggested retail price of 13,200 JPY, slated for release in October 2024!
The "X Max Armor Triad Thunder Ver." model kit is a modified version of the previously released "Max Armor" kit. It reproduces the armor's various colors with multi-color molded parts and includes many newly added parts such as a replacement neck part for natural dashing poses, a twisting waist part, and wrist extension parts. The shoulder armor has also been updated with the latest structure, allowing for more natural enjoyment of the Triad Thunder's destructive pose! The most eye-catching Triad Thunder effect part is the largest in the series' history! It powerfully recreates X's full-body defensive stance!
Accessories include replacement face parts with a gritted teeth expression and a shouting expression, as well as four pairs of different styled hands. Both left and right hands can also recreate the cannon firing state by swapping parts. By combining with blue-colored arms, waist, and legs, the normal state of the Max Armor can also be reproduced. Purchases at KOTOBUKIYA stores will include a limited bonus "Illustration Acrylic Stand"!
