BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division in Japan showcased three new model kit prototypes from "Mashin Souseiden" – "Ryujinmaru," "Fujinmaru," and "Kirinmaru" – at this week's "Shizuoka Hobby Show 2024." Release dates are yet to be determined.

"Mashin Souseiden" (魔神創造伝ワタル) is a new TV anime series created to inherit the savior legend from the 1988 anime "Mashin Hero Wataru" series. The spirit of the previous protagonist, Wataru Ikusabe, will be passed on to a new generation's protagonist, who will pilot the new generation Mashin, Ryujinmaru, to forge a brand new chapter. While this new Ryujinmaru inherits the previous work's short-statured silhouette and color scheme, its detailed design has been significantly altered.

Bandai has now, for the first time, exhibited physical prototypes of the three machines: "Ryujinmaru," "Fujinmaru," and "Kirinmaru." However, details regarding the story background and machine introductions for "Mashin Souseiden" have not yet been announced.
