To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the popular alloy toy series 'Chogokin', released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the latest collaboration product with 'Pokémon', "Iron Bundle", was officially announced today. Pre-orders are currently open on POKEMON CENTER ONLINE, with shipments expected to begin sequentially after late November 2024.
The Paradox Pokémon "Iron Bundle" is a new form of Pokémon that appeared in 'Pokémon Scarlet/Violet'. It possesses an appearance extremely similar to Delibird, yet it is an artificial Pokémon composed entirely of machinery. It is widely believed to be a product of an ancient civilization or future super-technology, but neither theory has definitive proof. Iron Bundle's pouch-like tail can eject large amounts of icy water, which can be used as a thruster or a weapon.
The "Chogokin Iron Bundle" utilizes alloy parts and metallic paint to recreate its cute in-game appearance, while also providing a satisfyingly weighty feel during play. The head can reproduce 3 different expressions by swapping parts. In addition to the posable joints in the head and limbs, the product also recreates the retractable mechanisms of the neck and tail. Pressing the button on its abdomen allows it to reproduce its comical appearance when attacked, and the tail can also be extended below the right wing to recreate its attacking pose.
Furthermore, the product includes a dedicated display stand and the Paradox Pokémon-exclusive enhancement item "Booster Energy". The display stand can store accessories such as expression parts and Booster Energy. The Booster Energy itself features a magnetic switch with a built-in LED light; simply touching it to Iron Bundle's head will activate the glowing effect in its eyes!
