Japan's Furyu Corporation (フリュー株式会社)'s high-quality toy brand "F:NEX" will release a new product based on the popular anime "Detective Conan" – the "Conan Edogawa & Kaito Kid" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure, with a reference price of 21,780 JPY, scheduled for release in February 2025!
The mystery manga series "Detective Conan" by Japanese manga artist Gosho Aoyama was adapted into an anime by TMS Entertainment. Since its broadcast began in 1996, it has released over a thousand TV anime episodes, and its theatrical films, almost one per year, welcome their 24th installment this year, "Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram." This film begins with Kaito Kid, who always steals precious jewels, sending a予告状 (heist notice) to the Axe-e Corporation's vault in Hakodate, Hokkaido, leading Conan to once again engage in a battle of wits to uncover numerous mysteries. The movie premiered in Japan on April 12th and will be released in Taiwan on June 28th, which is highly anticipated!
This "Conan Edogawa & Kaito Kid" pre-painted figure stands approximately 29 cm tall, depicting Conan and Kaito Kid in a dynamic back-to-back pose, showcasing their rival-yet-friendly relationship through their positioning. The large 1/7 scale allows for meticulous detailing of their costumes, with Kaito Kid's flowing cape further enhancing his mysterious charm as a phantom thief! The paint application precisely recreates their respective color schemes and utilizes airbrushing to enhance the overall cool-toned shadow effects, adding even stronger visual tension to the entire piece!
