APEX-TOYS, the toy brand of Shanghai Paice Culture Technology Development Co., Ltd., will release its latest product, the "Marcille" 1/7 scale figure, based on the popular anime "Dungeon Meshi," with an estimated release date of March 2025.
Japanese manga artist Ryoko Kui's manga series "Dungeon Meshi" centers on the theme of "adventures of tasting gourmet food in a dungeon labyrinth"—the protagonist Laios fails to defeat the Red Dragon, leading to his party's demise. To rescue his sister Farlyn, who was swallowed by the Red Dragon, Laios decides to return to the dungeon with minimal resources. To overcome the challenge of lacking supplies, Laios, along with the mage "Marcille," the locksmith Chilchuck, and the axe-wielding warrior Senshi, who has been researching monster cuisine for ten years, embark on a dungeon adventure where they eat monsters...
The "APEX-TOYS Marcille" 1/7 scale figure, standing approximately 27 cm tall, is based on the cover illustration of the second volume of "Dungeon Meshi," bringing the flustered, forward-running Marcille to life. Her half-elf features, such as her delicate nose and pointed ears, are meticulously sculpted. Details on her waist pouch, backpack, and clothing are all carefully crafted, with painting techniques used to express rich color textures. Holding a ladle and a magic book, the walking mushrooms and golems leaping on the base add to the vivid world-building. Additionally, it comes with an interchangeable crying face, a staff, and pumpkin soup, allowing for various display options!
