The popular alloy toy series 'METAL BUILD', released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., will hold a special exhibition 'METAL BUILD FESTIVAL 2024 WITH CLUB TAMASHII MEMBERS' from July 5 to September 2, 2024. In addition to unveiling several new prototype works for the first time, the exhibition will also launch the commemorative product 'Strike Freedom Gundam [METAL BUILD FESTIVAL 2024]', expected to be released in June 2024.
The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam is a mobile suit piloted by the protagonist Kira Yamato in 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny'. It is equipped with a Hyper Deuterion Engine capable of generating a large amount of energy, allowing it to be armed with numerous high-firepower beam weapons such as high-output beam rifles, Xiphias 3 rail cannons, and Super Lacerta beam sabers. Furthermore, its back is equipped with the 'Super DRAGOON' Mobile Weapon Wing, featuring a propulsion system developed from the 'Voiture Lumiere'. Each side has 8 'Beam Assault Cannons' that can deploy for all-range attacks, enabling it to simultaneously hit a large number of enemy units in conjunction with Kira Yamato's Super Coordinator abilities.
For this event, the popular product 'METAL BUILD Strike Freedom Gundam', originally released years ago, is being re-released as a limited commemorative item. It features a cool design that differs from the original work and includes some original weapon mechanisms. Its distinctive gold frame is rendered with alloy material and gold plating. Although product information has not yet been fully disclosed, differences from past releases can be observed in some paint colors and newly designed gold body markings across various parts of the body.
