Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division in Japan has announced the launch of a new capsule toy product themed after the classic anime "Cardcaptor Sakura"—the "Cardcaptor Sakura Figure Jewelry Stand" (tentative translation) capsule toy. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per turn, and it is scheduled for release in late August 2024!

"Cardcaptor Sakura" is a magical girl series originally created by the manga group CLAMP and adapted by Japanese animation studio MADHOUSE. The protagonist, Sakura Kinomoto, accidentally opened a book sealing the Clow Cards, causing them to scatter across the world. Each Clow Card possesses unique abilities and free will. To prevent the Clow Cards from causing destruction, Sakura became a Cardcaptor at the request of the guardian "Cerberus" (Kero), attempting to retrieve all the Clow Cards.

This "Cardcaptor Sakura Figure Jewelry Stand" (Gemlies) features three characters—Sakura, Kero, and Spinel Sun—made into four types of jewelry stands. The overall product height is approximately 7 cm, with the figures themselves standing about 5 cm tall. Each stand features a base made from the lower half of a capsule shell, colored to match the respective character, allowing you to store jewelry, stationery, and other small items. Covering it with the transparent capsule lid is also very cute, and you won't have to worry about losing the contents! The distribution rate for these four designs is 33.3% each for Kero and Spinel Sun, 26.7% for the regular Sakura, while the Sakura with the "Wow~" expression is only 6.7%. Toy collectors hoping to complete the set might need to test their luck!
