Sentinel, a Japanese model manufacturer, today announced the latest product from its popular alloy action figure series 'RIOBOT': 'Vilkiss', from the anime "CROSS ANGE: Rondo of Angel and Dragon", which celebrates its tenth anniversary. It is scheduled for release in December 2024.

Vilkiss is the unit piloted by the protagonist, Ange, who was stripped of her princess status and became a Norma warrior. This unit was originally an old Para-mail owned by the anti-dragon organization 'Arzenal'. Despite its high performance, it was left to rust due to its difficulty in operation. It wasn't until Ange became its pilot that her royal bloodline and royal ring awakened Vilkiss's true power. Vilkiss is one of the seven absolute weapons, 'Ragna-mail', built 500 years ago. It can switch between different modes by changing its body color and possesses various powerful functions such as dimensional jump, energy greatsword, and convergent spacetime cannon.
Standing approximately 26 cm tall, the 'RIOBOT Vilkiss' is crafted from ABS to achieve its sharp detailing, while its main torso and limb articulation frames are made of die-cast metal to enhance its weighty feel and joint stability. The entire unit faithfully recreates the anime's design, including the angel statue on its head, exposed frame piping, and sharp wing contours. It features a rich paint application that highlights its golden and gunmetal frame. When illuminated with a separately sold black light, transparent parts such as the head and chest can glow.

The die-cast frame offers both a flexible range of articulation and a complete transformation mechanism. In its humanoid Destroyer Mode, it can be posed in cool combat stances with the included assault rifle, Zanscalper sword, and Freeze Bullet Launcher wrist parts. Furthermore, it can transform into its Flight Mode, measuring approximately 39 cm in length, without needing to swap any parts. It can be displayed with its dedicated stand and auxiliary support, and also includes a mini figure of protagonist Ange that can be placed in the cockpit to recreate high-mobility battle scenes!
