The METAL ROBOT Damashii series, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., which combines metallic texture painting and an alloy frame, recently announced the latest product, "Zi-Apollo," from the anime "CODE GEASS: Rozé of the Recapture," is scheduled for release in January 2025.
The UZZ-001s Zi-Apollo is a KMF utilized by the mercenary brothers Rozé and Ash, known as the "Nameless Mercenaries," with the elder brother Ash, who possesses excellent athletic ability and piloting skills, serving as the pilot. Although this machine is a new KMF of unknown origin, it boasts exceptionally outstanding performance. Combined with Ash's remarkable piloting skills, almost no one can rival his combat capabilities. Its combat prowess is further enhanced upon activating the high-mobility mode, 'MEGISTUS ZETA'.
The "METAL ROBOT Damashii Zi-Apollo" faithfully recreates its in-show appearance with a highly articulated 14 cm tall specification. The main torso and limbs utilize numerous alloy parts to enhance the sense of weight and joint rigidity during play. The exterior armor also restores its cool, sharp design and is finished with rich color applications such as wine red, navy blue, and silver, expressing the machine's substantial metallic texture. Multiple areas such as the shoulders, abdomen, waist, and legs feature multi-axis and other flexible joint designs, allowing for dynamic combat poses from the series.
The back cockpit features a hatch deployment mechanism, and the head can reproduce the masked state of the high-mobility mode 'MEGISTUS ZETA' by swapping parts. For weaponry, the blades mounted on the wrists can be deployed, the wrist energy shield can be recreated with effect parts, and the six 'Hien Souga' (Flying Swallow Claws) launched from the shoulders, chest, and thighs can be reproduced by swapping parts. It also includes weapons seized from other units during combat, such as levyletaine's massive twin swords and Camden's rifle, allowing for the recreation of its impressive and versatile combat tactics.
