Mattel Creations, the online sales platform where American toy company Mattel collaborates with fan creators to sell their works, will launch a new Masters of the Universe-themed product—the 'Extendar' action figure. The suggested retail price is $20 USD, and it will be available on the Mattel Creations official website on May 22nd at 9 AM Pacific Time!
Extendar is a member of the Heroic Warriors and a close friend of Prince Adam. Originally just an ordinary knight, he yearned for superpowers after witnessing the abilities of the villainous warrior Dragstor. Hordak then subjected him to scientific experiments, transforming him into a mechanical warrior with extendable abilities. Extendar's toy was also one of the last characters released in the original 80s toy line.
This Extendar action figure, as part of the 'Masters of the Universe Origins' series, recreates his appearance from the 80s release, adding elbow and knee joints to his limbs. While increasing overall articulation, it also retains his iconic white and gold color scheme, using molded colors to showcase a metallic texture. It further preserves the classic toy's play feature, allowing Extendar's body and arms to be extended. This time, the extent of the extension has been significantly enhanced, making this hero even more powerful than before!
