World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys' recent Star Wars-themed exhibition, 'Star Wars: The Power of the Dark Side,' is still in full swing at Cityplaza in Hong Kong, and continues to unveil a variety of exciting Star Wars-themed products! Today, we are thrilled to announce the 'Darth Sidious' figure, with news released earlier today (16th). This highly anticipated collectible has a suggested retail price of US$265 and is slated for release in Q2-Q3 2025!
This Darth Sidious figure's design is meticulously based on his appearance in 'STAR WARS: REVENGE OF THE SITH,' specifically the attire worn by Chancellor Palpatine during his dramatic confrontation with Master Yoda after revealing his true identity as Darth Sidious. The iconic cloak and intricate suit are expertly crafted from real fabric, faithfully recreating every detail from the film. The newly designed head sculpt captures an even more sinister and terrifying visage, further enhanced by an independent rolling eyeball system that allows for the recreation of the Sith Lord's most malevolent and cunning expressions.
The impressive array of accessories includes a Sith Lord's signature red lightsaber, featuring authentic LED light-up effects, as well as multiple interchangeable hand parts designed to depict him unleashing devastating Dark Side Force lightning from his fingertips, perfectly capturing his insidious demeanor during his assault on Master Yoda!
As a special bonus, orders placed directly at the exhibition venue will receive an exclusive red commemorative coin, while purchases made through designated retail channels will be accompanied by a regular commemorative gold coin!
