Japan's TAKARA TOMY company, known for its famous doll toy "Licca-chan" (リカちゃん), has launched a powerful new collaboration product with the popular anime "Oshi no Ko" – the "Oshi no Ko x Licca-chan Hoshino Ai" collaboration doll. The suggested retail price is 6600 JPY, and the product was released in mid-May of this year!

"Licca-chan" first debuted in 1967 as a fashion doll series manufactured and released by the Japanese toy company Takara (タカラ). Upon its appearance, it swiftly defeated its strong American rival, Mattel's Barbie doll, in the Japanese girls' toy market, and only resumed collaboration with Mattel in the 1980s. Licca-chan has previously launched numerous collaboration products with popular anime such as "Urusei Yatsura", "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba", and this time, Licca will transform into Hoshino Ai from "Oshi no Ko", appearing as an idol!

This "Oshi no Ko x Licca-chan Hoshino Ai" collaboration doll stands approximately 22 cm tall. Using Licca-chan's base body, it recreates Ai's idol costume from the series, meticulously crafting various details on the outfit. The hair is also made in Ai's blue-purple hair color from the anime, complete with rabbit hair accessories. Furthermore, the paintwork faithfully reproduces the iconic star-shaped pupils in Ai's eyes, transforming Licca into the center idol of B-Komachi!
