GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan today announced the latest seventh installment in its original assembly model series "Chitocerium" (チトセリウム), "I-hydra," slated for release in February 2025.

The "Chitocerium" series is a line of beautiful girl assembly models jointly produced by GOOD SMILE COMPANY, Japanese illustrator "huke," and "Masaki Apsy," the prototype sculptor responsible for developing figma series joints and the base bodies for "Frame Arms Girl" and "Megami Device." While seemingly similar to the popular "mecha musume" (mechanical girl) theme currently trending in the industry, the fundamental design is distinctly different, imbued with a strong fantasy aesthetic. In the lore, "Chitocerium" is a fantastical realm, and the fairy-like beings within it are called "fragments." Born in Chitocerium, they are its guardians. Though they possess a humanoid appearance, they are not human, their eyes gleaming with a mysterious light. Only those authorized by them are deemed worthy to possess them.

The character introduced in the seventh installment is "I-hydra," the Queen of the miniature garden world, Chitocerium. She boasts a lavish body sculpt and exterior armor, distinct from other characters in the series. Partially pre-painted parts are used to express the elegant embroidery patterns on her body. Various red and gold exterior parts are crafted with high-density surface carvings and openwork designs, thanks to precise molding technology. Flexible multi-axis movable connecting parts allow for the construction of a massive crown and cape befitting her queenly status, which can transform into large wings on her back.

Accessories include a scepter, a fan, and various interchangeable hand parts, allowing for a wide range of elegant and beautiful poses for the Queen. The three pre-painted interchangeable face parts were designed by doll artist Renya, who operates under the name MUGUET, creating a vibrant yet natural doll-like makeup finish.

Similar to other products in the series, "I-hydra" can also be stored in a hexagonal box by curling up her body and folding her exterior parts. The box surface features her exclusive ornate pattern.
