Japanese high-end statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio recently announced the latest product from its "Ultimate Diorama Masterline" series, a bonus version of the "Godzilla (2023)" diorama statue, based on "Godzilla-1.0"! The setting of "Godzilla-1.0" is post-World War II Japan, a nation in ruins facing the arduous task of rebuilding from scratch. However, at this critical moment, the colossal monster "Godzilla" suddenly appears and lands in Japan, causing immense destruction. The entire nation is on the verge of plummeting from its original state of 0 to a profoundly despairing -1.0. This film also marks the 30th installment in Toho's "Godzilla" series, commemorating its 70th anniversary.
This non-scale Godzilla destroying Ginza diorama stands approximately 70 cm tall and spans an impressive 84 cm in length, exuding a powerful presence. It perfectly recreates the robust physique of Godzilla as mutated from the ancient deep-sea creature "Oarfish" in the film. The colossal and sharp dorsal fins, the dark gray and sandy yellow body surface, and the incredibly rough, scaly skin resembling deep-sea rock formations are all meticulously sculpted with high artistic skill.
