R2-D2 is an astromech droid originally built by a young Anakin Skywalker, who would later become the infamous Darth Vader. He shared a deep and enduring bond with Anakin. This R2-D2 -Classic Ver.- Action Figure marks a new release, following the 2017 version. Its overall design is faithfully based on his iconic appearance in "Star Wars: A New Hope." The coloring has been subtly modified, appearing cleaner and brighter than the previous iteration, with an enhanced metallic sheen and more detailed weathering on the feet, adding to its premium feel.
