The character figure series "Figuarts ZERO," released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has once again launched a new product based on the "BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Arc" theme – the "Byakuya Kuchiki" pre-painted figure – following the 6th Division Lieutenant "Renji Abarai." With a suggested retail price of 11,000 JPY, it is scheduled for release in October 2024!
The Bankai "Senbonzakura Kageyoshi" of Byakuya Kuchiki, Captain of the 6th Division of the Gotei 13, can transform the blade of his Zanpakuto into countless scattering flower petals, which he controls to launch wide-ranging attacks on enemies. This ability caused Ichigo considerable trouble during the "Soul Society Arc." In the "BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Arc," when Byakuya confronted the invading Wandenreich in the Soul Society, he activated "Senbonzakura Kageyoshi" despite knowing his Bankai might be sealed by the opponent, instructing Renji to observe how to break the seal. However, at the moment of activation, his Bankai was stolen by his opponent, "F" Äs Nödt, using a medallion.
This Byakuya Kuchiki pre-painted figure is crafted to depict Byakuya activating his Bankai, presenting the scene of Byakuya standing amidst a storm of cherry blossoms, bringing this beautiful yet fleeting moment to life. The sculpt faithfully recreates his Shinigami attire worn in the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc and captures the dynamic pose of him holding the hilt of his bladeless sword during Bankai activation. The cherry blossom petals are painted with incredible depth and layering, featuring pearlescent accents within the saturated hues, making the overall appearance even more elegant and perfectly reproducing the magnificent style of Senbonzakura Kageyoshi!
