American toy manufacturer McFarlane Toys' "DC Multiverse" product line has officially unveiled its latest release, the "Darkseid" action figure! It is scheduled for release in August 2024, with a suggested retail price of US$39.99.
Darkseid, the terrifying tyrant with immense power in the DC Universe, was originally the second prince of Apokolips. To exclusively possess the powerful "Omega Effect," he eliminated his brother. However, while gaining extraordinary power, he also transformed into a rock giant. He later seized power to become the ruler of Apokolips, with even his uncle, Steppenwolf, submitting to him and becoming the commander of his army. Although Darkseid possesses nearly invincible power, he prefers to use his intellect to manipulate opponents. His signature "Omega Beam," mind control, brainwashing, and other abilities are all within Darkseid's repertoire.
This figure is produced in Megafig scale, standing approximately 22.5 cm tall, making it significantly larger and more imposing than the standard 7-inch DC Multiverse character figures in the same series. It features 22 points of articulation throughout the body.
