Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON capsule toy brand's highly acclaimed "Machibouke" (Waiting) series is set to release its latest product: the "Toho Monsters Waiting: Godzilla" capsule toy collection. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per capsule, with a total of 4 types available, scheduled to launch in late June 2024.
Maintaining the consistent style of the "Machibouke" series, which allows characters to express a sense of patient waiting and subtle melancholy, this "Toho Monsters Waiting: Godzilla" capsule toy collection adorably recreates popular monsters from the Godzilla series—Mothra, Godzilla, Gigan, and Mechagodzilla—in small capsule toy sizes. Each monster features a unique sitting pose that matches its character, including Mothra Larva's peculiar curled-up pose (?), and Godzilla with its small hands placed on its knees... showcasing the monsters in rarely seen, well-behaved sitting postures! You can even bring them to the cinema to watch exciting monster battles together!
