The renowned American toy manufacturer Hasbro's Marvel 6-inch action figure series, "Marvel Legends," recently unveiled new product information for the "Man-Thing Ted" 6-inch action figure, a new item themed after "Werewolf by Night," exclusively on the American entertainment news website "Comic Book Resources" (CBR). The suggested retail price is $39.99, with an anticipated release in Fall 2024!
"Werewolf by Night" is a Halloween special from the Marvel Cinematic Universe that premiered on the Disney+ streaming platform in October 2022. Adapted from the Marvel Comics superhero character of the same name, the story follows five experienced monster hunters who are invited to Bloodstone Temple for a hunting competition after the death of their leader on a full moon night, gradually uncovering the conspiracies and secrets hidden within.
The "Man-Thing" Ted, released this time, is a good friend of the hunter Jack Russell in the show and also the target of the hunt in the competition. In the later part of the show, he transforms from a terrifying monster into a somewhat cute and endearing character, gaining much affection from fans. This Man-Thing Ted 6-inch action figure faithfully recreates Ted's Cthulhu-esque horror design from the show, meticulously detailing the textures of moss and vines covering his entire body. It features over 20 points of articulation and comes with a pair of interchangeable hands, allowing for various interesting poses for Ted!
